Amy Stoddart, owner Bridger Dance and Pilates LLC

Amy Stoddart has nearly thirty years of experience teaching ballet and Pilates. She began practicing Pilates to help her maintain strength and flexibility while rehabilitating a broken foot. She quickly discovered the many benefits of  Pilates and maintained an active practice throughout her professional ballet performance career.


Amy completed her certification course work in STOTT Pilates in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels through the Pacific Northwest Pilates Center in Portland, Oregon. Amy is also certified in ZenGa Mat and Total Barre. She holds a BA in Dance from Mercyhurst College and an MFA in Dance from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Continuing Education Courses include: Scoliosis Management, Programming for Breast Cancer Rehab, Total Barre, Athletic Conditioning on the Cardio Trap, Athletic Conditioning on the Mat, and varied myofascial techniques for injury prevention and optimal postural alignment.


Amy served as an Associate Professor and Graduate Coordinator at the University of Oregon specializing in ballet technique and dance history for over a decade. She is an advanced ballet instructor at the Montana Ballet Academy, served as Co-Artistic Director of the Montana Ballet Company for six years, and is currently their resident choreographer.


Amy and her family are avid skiers, hikers, bikers, rafters, and athletes. She understands first hand the importance of keeping your body in peak physical condition so that you can continue to enjoy all that Montana and the Rocky Mountains have to offer!

Heidi Ransom, STOTT Trained, Total Barre Certified, Foundations Trainee, Licensed Massage Therapist. Private Training and Group Group Instruction.


Heidi completed Intensive Mat Plus through Pacific Northwest Pilates in June of 2013 and Total Barre Certification in December 2015.  She has additional training in Athletic Conditioning on the Reformer and Scoliosis programing. Heidi is a Lisenced massage therapist who brings with her an extensive knowledge of anatomy and myfascial release techniques. Heidi will be completeing her Foundations training (a restorative practice for spinal health) this November.







Melissa Dawn, BFA Candidate MSU

Office Manager and Substitute Instructor


Melissa is an artist, dancer, and choreographer.  She began practicing Pilates at Bridger Pilates in 2012.  She views Pilates as the ideal exercise for injury recovery and prevention.  The core strength built through Pilates allows her to create and perform at her best.  Melissa spent five years studying and performing in New York City.  In NYC she completed the Professional Training Program of the Merce Cunningham Dance Studio where she was a Merit Scholarship recipient.  In New York she performed in the companies of June Finch, Hiske Dooper, Himiko Minato and Richard Decker.  Since moving to Montana she has danced with Headwaters Dance Company, Azure Vision Dance Collective, and Montana Ballet Company, and has choreographed for IndepenDANCE.  She is a student at Montana State University pursuing her BFA in Sculpture and Printmaking and a member of the Montana Artrepreneurs Program.

Robin Otey, STOTT Certified Pilates Instructor. Private Training and Group Group Instruction.



Robin was introduced to Pilates in 1994 as a means for improving core strength and flexibility to compliment her dance training. She first encountered STOTT Pilates as a professional dancer in the late 1990’s and fell in love with its approach.


Practicing Pilates alongside her dance training and professional career, Robin feels the benefit of this exercise carries over to every aspect of life---from athletic performance enhancement, injury prevention & rehabilitation, to general fitness and physical well-being. She loves working with individuals on achieving their personal health and fitness goals and creating a better quality of life.


Robin danced professionally for Houston Ballet, Ballet Memphis and St. Louis Ballet. She has over 10 years of teaching experience.

Jeannette Blank, STOTT Trained, TRX Certified. Private Training and Group Instruction


Jeannette completed Intensive Mat Plus through Pacific Northwest Pilates in June of 2013 and TRX Certification in Fall 2014. Jeannette’s high energy classes are a fun challenge for all ages and abilities. She is an extremely popular group instructor at Bridger Pilates. Look for her this winter in TRX and Mat classes.

Samantha Hinckley, STOTT Trained, Total Barre Certified, Zenga Certified. Private Training and Group Group Instruction.

Samantha is a trained Total Barre Instructor and has completed the STOTT Pilates Intensive Reformer Level 1 Course.  She has a BFA in Printmaking and Painting, and a BA in French Language and Literature from Montana State University.

Emily Davis, NETA certified instructor, Beacon Pilates and Barre Sculpt certified. Private Training and Group Group Instruction.


Emily's background includes study in Classical Ballet and Competitive Jazz . Ultimately, she became a company member with Canyon Concert Ballet in Colorado. After discovering Pilates and Barre, Emily noticed how well they kept her fit and injury free while melting away pain from old injuries. She quickly became an avid practitioner of both. Emily is a certified instructor through NETA as well as a certified Sculpt Barre and Beacon Pilates instructor. Her love of Pilates has only been fueled by her love for teaching it. She is thrilled to be a part of Bridger Pilates!
